The Sewanee Annual Fund Phonathon program is looking for dependable, articulate, responsible and confident student callers who can effectively communicate Sewanee's funding needs to Alumni.
No previous telemarketing experience is required. Paid training will be provided to all callers regardless of experience.
About the Phonathon
Everyone we call during the Phonathon has a direct connection to Sewanee. They lived in the dorms, ate at Shenanigans, swam in Lake Cheston, survived comps and took many of the classes you take today. In short, they understand what it is like to attend Sewanee.
Money raised goes to support the Sewanee Annual Fund. The Sewanee Annual Fund represents five percent of the operating budget for the University.
The Sewanee Annual Fund is used for Faculty salaries, Financial Aid, Scholarships, Athletics, DuPont Library, Student Activities, the Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services.
Phonathon Job Info
* $6.45 / hr to start plus nightly and weekly incentive bonuses
* Phonathon hours are 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. - Sunday thru Thursday
* Callers must work at least two 3 hour shifts per week (6 hours / week)
* 15 minute paid break time
* Paid training
* Flexible schedules - You can vary which days you work each week to best fit your schedule
