In February and March:
Faculty and staff are invited to join lunch discussions focused on readings from Sewanee's participation in the inaugural Institute for Diversity, Civility, and the Liberal Arts.
These discussions will offer the opportunity to explore recent scholarship around diversity and civility on campus and implications for Sewanee.
The sessions will take place 2/22, 3/6, and 3/29 from 12-1pm (locations in signup form); you are welcome to join several sessions or just one based on your interest and availability.
Each session will be co-facilitated by a faculty person and a staff person; the first two sessions are for faculty and staff, and the third will include students.
Lunch will be provided. Click here for more information on the readings and to sign-up for one or more sessions.
Please sign up by 2/13 to be included in the first session.
You can invite students to participate in the third session by having them sign-up here.
The discussions are co-sponsored by the Center for Teaching, the Office of Civic Engagement, Dialogue Across Difference Programs, and the Committee on Diversity, Inclusion, and Cohesion.
