Center for Teaching (duPont 2nd floor)
Jim Crawford shares experiences from his sabbatical, in which he studied the teaching of acting in Australia and New Zealand. This session will examine how the history of a place and its disenfranchised people affects the way students are taught to express themselves.
Can ancient and invented rituals deepen the connection for students of the iphone generation to their physical and vocal impulses? The session will include a couple of group exercises, but they will not be physically rigorous.
All participants should wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to do some easy stretches.
Sign up here for lunch.
