With rising numbers of students experiencing mental health problems, faculty are often faced with the challenge of navigating the tension between supporting students' needs and adhering to course objectives.
What are the best ways to support students who are managing symptoms of anxiety and mood disorders (as well as other concerns)? How do you respond when students request adjustments that are not in alignment with course objectives? What do you do when students' mental health concerns challenge your boundaries?
