Join us for lunch and informal conversation with Dr. Gholnecsar Muhammad about how to integrate your research, writing, and personal interests to fulfill your career aspirations.
Although ALL are invited, this session may be of particular interest to faculty who are at an earlier point (or point of reinvention!) in their career.
A former teacher and K-12 administrator, Dr. Muhammad is currently an assistant professor at Georgia State University teaching literacy and language in the Department of Middle and Secondary Education. Additionally, she serves as the executive director of the Urban Literacy Collaborative and Clinic. She uses her research, writing, and speaking to shape the national conversation for educating youth who have been historically underserved by traditional educational systems and practices. You may read more about Dr. Muhammad here.
Please sign up here; lunch will be provided.
