The nationally-ranked Sewanee men and women's tennis teams open the newly constructed Bruton-Guerry Tennis Center with matches this weekend.
Since the summer of 2015, the Bruton-Guerry Tennis Center has been torn down, cleared out, and rebuilt. Now complete and newly opened, the facility is one of the top tennis venues in all of college athletics.
With assistance from the Hamico Foundation along with many University of the South alumni, including former student-athletes Boyd Douglas, C'88, and David Dye, C'90, Bruton-Guerry now features three stadiums (Willett, Conchie's Corner, and Jim Scott viewing bench), the John Guerry Pavilion, 12 new courts, new fencing, and new windscreens.
