Terry Papillon, professor of classics as well as vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College, has been selected by the Council of Independent Colleges to participate in the 2018–2019 Executive Leadership Academy. Scott Wilson, associate dean of global education and professor of politics, was selected to participate in the 2018–2019 Senior Leadership Academy.
Eunice Muchemi, C'19, has been named a recipient of the 2018 Newman Civic Fellows Award. An International and Global Studies major with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies, Muchemi has worked actively in multiple capacities to address the global issue of gender violence.
Professor of Art Pradip Malde has been awarded a 2018 Guggenheim Fellowship. The Guggenheim Memorial Foundation awarded fellowships this spring to 175 U.S. and Canadian scholars, artists, and scientists chosen from a group of 3,000 applicants.
