Program
Friday, April 15th

NEW THIS YEAR! 3:00 p.m. Warm-Up Hike at Caldwell Rim Trail (Lost Cove). Meet at McGriff Alumni House to drive to the trailhead. A two-mile loop, the newest of the domain's trails will give you a glimpse of the university's newly-acquired property.

• 6:30 p.m.  Energy Building Dinner has MOVED to Spencer Hall, just behind McGriff Alumni House. Mingle with some favorite professors and hear from our "rock star" Bran Potter! We'll meet outside Spencer then move into Harris Commons for dinner.


Saturday, April 16th

• 7:00 a.m. Pre-hike Breakfast with special guest Vice-Chancellor John McCardell.
• Take Courtesy Vans to the starting location.  Hikers may choose to hike the full trail (20 miles) or half trail.  Full hikers start north and half trail hikers head south on the trail.

• Noon  Meet for lunch at the Cross.  Half trail hikers are finished!  Take courtesy vans back to campus.

6:00 p.m. Cocktails at Snowden Hall (newly-renovated home of Forestry and Geology).  We will be welcomed by faculty members who will provide a tour of Snowden Hall. Dinner following at the nearby McGriff Alumni House.


Accommodations:
Rooms are being held at the Sewanee Inn (931.598.1686).  

What to Bring:
• Hiking Shoes and clothes.  Rain coat if weather forecast is bad.  (The hike will take place unless the rain is very heavy or stormy)
• Sun block
• Sunglasses
• Backpack
• Swimming suit and towel

Cost:
$120 per person
Included in the price:
All courtesy car rides
Food and drink for Friday night's pre-hike dinner with Professor Bran Potter
Breakfast and lunch on hike day
