Review 2018 Cover

Sewanee English Professor Virginia Craighill has written the introduction and commentary to Tennessee Williams, Letters, 1936-1977 published in the Winter 2018 issue of The Sewanee Review

Williams’s niece Francesca discovered the unpublished correspondence between Williams, his grandparents, mother, and her father, Dakin, and turned it over to family friend, Professor Richard Chapman of Washington University, who shared the letters with The Sewanee Review.

Professor Craighill has been teaching at Sewanee since 2001, and currently serves as the advisor to the student newspaper, The Sewanee Purple.

More information on the project and the Williams letters can be found in the latest edition of the Sewanee Review.
